PhD student @ Nir Yosef lab, my research focuses on a different domain, so my main interest in taking the course lies in extracting ideas from LLM research that can transfer to my own work. Hoping to learn: new architecture ideas, interpreting evaluation metrics, advanced self-supervised learning techniques. Also the course sounds like a great opportunity to strengthen research skills, improve in quickly digesting papers, reproducing key results, high quality figures, better writing.
